Pipe reaming is a trenchless method that involves enlarging an existing pipeline’s diameter by using a cutting tool or reamer to remove the inner wall of the old pipe while simultaneously installing a new, larger pipe in its place, eliminating the need for extensive excavation. The pipe reaming process is ideal for the replacement of large diameter pipelines or when a big upsize is required.
